I am a web geek that likes to build things. You never see what I do (like you would a designer’s creations), but you always expect it to work. Nobody ever says thank you, but everyone complains when it goes wrong. I’m not flashy, you don’t gasp “ooooh, aaaah” at my brilliance, but without it you flounder, lost. Thus I have I have coined myself an open source architect.

Mostly, I am a WordPress developer. I build bespoke premium plugins for clients and add functionality to my employer’s in-house parent themes. I look after the company’s presence in the cloud, managing our cloud (VPS) servers. These are mostly low-cost WordPress servers tweaked to deliver extraordinary performance.

However, for all my genius,  nobody is wowed. Or something *8-)
